Wedding ceremony at the famous Old Town Hall in Prague from €1,199,
The Old Town Hall became the centre of self-government in Prague in 1338 after King John of Luxembourg granted a royal charter to the city with the corresponding privileges. After 120 years, it was here that George of Podebradsky was elected as a king.
During its existence, the town hall has passed through all style periods. Today it is a block of gradually joining houses of various times. The remains of Romanesque houses are in the cellars. The prevailing style of both the exterior and interiors is Gothic. The facade of one of the Western houses built in 1526 is decorated with a three-part window with the inscription Praga caput regni (Prague is the head of the kingdom). Behind it is the wedding ritual wedding hall, which is never empty. Weddings have been celebrated here since 1871.
The beautiful Old Town Hall was specially created for solemn ceremonies. You will unite yourself with sacred marriage bonds to the sounds of an organ. Surrounded by golden domes, the most beautiful day of your life will be unforgettable.
The wedding ceremony will begin at a magical place where thousands of people flock to admire the incredible creation of the watchmaker Ganush – the astronomical clock “Eagle”.
The medieval tower of the Old Town Hall with underground labyrinths, the temple of the Virgin Mary before Tyn, and the old square with masterpieces of medieval architecture. These are all incredible scenery where a horse-drawn carriage will arrive with the bride and groom. The wedding ceremony will take place in the ceremonial hall of the Old Town Hall. The historical surroundings of one of the city’s most beautiful squares will give the wedding exceptional sophistication and charm. And the world-famous astronomical chimes – “Eagle”, on the tower of the Old Town Hall, will begin to count the happy minutes of living together.
